On Wednesday it was reported that Mr Trump had been in China for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit but his trip was cancelled after reports he had been seen in a hotel room without official visas.

The American Civil Liberties Union, which represents Mr Trump’s aides, said he had been in China with his family on a business trip.

It claimed the president was “reluctant” to disclose his name and telephone number but did not give any details as to why this was the case.

The APEC summit had been widely reported to be held in Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, as Trump is an active member of the Trumps’ family and his children.

In Washington last week, several US media outlets were ordered by the White House to delete co우리카지노mments by Mr Trump claiming the “fake news media” was a threat to free press and the democratic process.

In that context, and amid public pressure, Mr Trump issued a tweet that said news organisations he disagrees with were “the enemy of the American People”.
